Forget waxing and tweezing, Threading is the new buzz word in beauty! Although an ancient method of hair removal originating in Persia it is fast becoming the newest hair removal option in western countries and is definitely a huge hit with me. I always shied away from waxing because I have sensitive skin and always broke out in a rash after waxing and I am always fearful of ending up with a droopy eyelid in later years because of over-waxing. So if any of you are like me then you’ll love threading. It is non-abrasive and doesnt strip the skin like waxing can and is so precice and controlled at removing hairs from your brows. The whole process is done by a single thread, it is so quick, maybe a little painful but no more than waxing or tweezing and the results are fantastic. A perfectly preened and tidied eyebrow which will last for approx. three weeks. Thank you to everyone who nominated me for the Best Bridal Makeup Artist of the Year Award. I have been shortlisted for the Award so I just have to wait and see how I get on in February.

Obviously it would be brilliant to win but I am up against some great Makeup Artists, there are only four others shortlisted so fingers crossed!

I thought it would be appropriate if the first wedding I blogged was my own…as I am only recently married I am still on a high but miss all the excitment of colour schemes, flowers,dresses and overall planning of the day. This is why I am very excited about this blog because it is my only excuse to keep looking at beautiful wedding sites and magazines and to document everything pretty about Weddings!

Our Wedding Reception was at The Village at Lyons, a stunning venue in Kildare which was the perfect backdrop for the type of Wedding we wanted, Vintage Glamour. Everything from my dress, to the venue, the weather, the music and our first dance under the stars was perfect.

I came up with the idea last year to start a wedding blog as I am regularly immersed in Weddings and trials and planning and since my own wedding last September they are my new favourite past time. I love everything pretty about Weddings and I love them even more when they are unique and individual.

My aim is to bring you as many ideas, inspirations and photos from real weddings, photoshoots, magazines and other fabulous Wedding sites, where I mostly get my inspiration.
